I had fun, always a little reflective on my birthday as my dad died on my 30th birthday but after I go through all that I enjoy the amazing life I have , and so on
I went to LA for the NAMM show and my girlfriends family through an intimate but fun party

Comments: Hi Jamie!i remember the the first time I heard you on the Jean Luc Ponty record"A Taste for Passion"(which I still have a copy),man...I was just starting to play guitar at the time,and fusion was and still my first love to this day!all of you!Weather Report,Mahavishnu,Tony Williams Lifetime,Dixie Dregs,Brand X,Al Di Meola...fusion was my blue pill!..and thanx to all of you,I was never the same,guitar playing that took me BEYOND everything I thought was possible,and so MUSICAL!!far more than guitar chops..the solo on "Beach Girl"still inspires me..please Keep me informed on your new musical projects to come..Fusion Forever,Thx.....
Admin reply: Hi Shawn I loved reading your message. I must say that I am the luckiest person around having been in the thick of it in the fusion days. So many of those musicians, composers,and producers have been such a great inspiration and influence.
As the years went on, we all went into making music for movies, and more and I believe the era we lived through surely changed modern pop, and more.
Glad you liked our work on Taste for Passion I think Joaquin played that solo , I cant remember LOL I dont have any albums at my house, and rarely listen to music cause Im always luckily making it for someone, producing, arranging or doing sessions.
Im excited about touring for the first time in 15 years with the new Anderson Ponty band and hope you will come out to the shows.
