Jamie I just want to thank you for sharing your talents with us on June 17 at the one world Theatre in Austin Texas. My most wonderful wife and I had the pleasure of enjoying a great evening with our good friends Steve and Linda and the first time meeting Dann. My most memorable great times are sharing any evening with good friends having fun. You showcased the fun along well if you're always excellent musical skills that evening! hats off to you Jamie and best wishes!

Thank you Tracy

Good afternoon, Mr. Glaser:

Last days i've been watching the old mythical spanish TVE show "Jazz entre amigos" and in a monographic dedicated to Jean Luc Ponty i've known a pair of good musicians, a guitar player, Jamie Glaser, and a keybord player, Allan Zavod; so i've been investigating about them and it has led me to your web; usually is enough with Wikipedia but in you case it isn't so.

Admin reply: Hello Francisco
I am very happy that your research brought you
to my home on the internet.
I have always loved my years with Jean Luc Ponty, he is my favorite musical situation.
Though I have played many times in Barcelona, with Ponty, Manhattan Transfer, and Chick Corea ( Electrik Band)
sadly our Jean Luc Ponty Atlantic year tour will only be for the United States. We haven't played here as this band from the 80's since 1994, a very long time.
I wanted to say thank you for your interest in me as well as my friend and amazing musician Allan Zavod. Allan passed away a few months ago and we are all so sad about that.
Feel free to write me at luckyrecording@aol.com
I always respond to the nice people who take the time to write to me.
All the best
jamie

Hi Jamie. I'm really excited about your US tour that's starting in May. I live in Stony Point, NY so I'm hoping to see you at BB KINGS on June 25th. I saw you at the Tarrytown Music Hall in May. Actually I spoke to you after the concert. i told you that I saw you several times at the Morris Stage in Morristown NJ in the 70's and early 80's. i also saw you in the APB at the Count Basie Theater in RED BANK NJ in 2014. I'm a huge fan of JEAN LUC PONTY and his band. I own almost every album that the band has done. I also just finished your book and I really enjoyed it. I was a Social Worker for about 35 years and it was really interesting to read your story. I can't wait to see you and the rest of the JLP band in June.

Admin reply: Thanks Dave
Ill look forward to seeing you. Thanks for your support
through the years for Jean Luc and me
all the best
jamie

Hello Jamie,
I'm glad I found your website. Although I'm a classical double bassist I've always admired your playing a lot. Fantastic sound and concept.
Best wishes,
Marcos

Admin reply: HI Marcos
Sure appreciate you coming by and thank you for the kind words.

I started as a bass player, was accepted to Julliard
on double bass but decided to follow my heart
and go to Berklee for composition and guitar

I still do a lot of bass work

Feel free to stay in touch and reach me at
luckyrecording@aol.com

Many thanks and Happy New Year

Jamie

Just read your bio dude, I'm like your less-talented younger brother ha! Well more like I]m fighting a total lack of talent...

I've been sight-reading Christmas music getting ready for the grandkids' visit. And I watched your sight-reading of Hoedown today- BLEW ME AWAY!! Maybe at quarter-note = 5 I could do that :)

I'm a HUGE ELP fan (my son is named "Palmer", I'm a drummer), so I know that song note-for-note. You were practically perfect. Inspiring play. That's a major life goal of mine to be able to sight-read real pieces.

Love your work- first time post on your site.

Spydo

Admin reply: Hi Spydo
Sure appreciate you reaching out.
Thanks for your kind words .
I love reading music and have a course called Turn It Up
that teaches the pros sight reading techniques
Please check it out as well as some free music/guitar lessons

Stay in touch, you can always email me at luckyrecording@aol.com
all the best and thanks again for taking time to write
